The Louisiana Computer Training Center, located at the Louisiana Technology Park, is a joint venture between the State of Louisiana, Dell Computers, Microsoft, Lexmark and the Louisiana Technology Park. This partnership has created a modern Louisiana computer facility that can be used for training on desktop and mainframe applications. The center has the capacity for a trainer to lead a class of up to 30 people. Hardware includes: Dell Optiplex GX620 and flat panel monitors and Lexmark and HP printers. All computers are loaded with the Microsoft XP Windows and XP Office Suite of software applications: Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Powerpoint, and Publisher.
The computers are connected to a 100Mbps Ethernet wireless network, have broadband Internet access, and are connected to a Tier IV Data Center via a 1 gigabit fiber connection. A projector is available for Powerpoint presentations. (Projector must be reserved in advance.)

Scheduling: First-come, first-served basis with LTP Member Companies, the State of Louisiana and its agencies having priority usage.
 The center is available Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Non-profit organizations may also schedule use of the facility at no charge. For-profit companies may use the facility for a fee. All organizations must provide their own trainers. Reserve your space: To request a reservation, simply download and sign the RESERVATION REQUEST form and follow the instructions. Reservations will not be confirmed without receipt of this signed document.
Louisiana Technology Park is a smoke-free environment. No food or drink is allowed in the training center. Guests have access to the Park's break room and vending machine.
