Espion International, Inc., a Baton Rogue based company specializing in email gateway security, has an entry level opening for a technical support analyst. The qualified individual will be able to assist with handling technical support issues including: problem solving and troubleshooting in a non-scripted environment via phone and email to advise clients on resolving various issues; utilizing a tracking system to resolve/escalate issues; building and deploying software on servers; assisting development team with testing software; and increasing customer satisfaction by developing close relationships through continued interactions. Job Requirements |
- HR@ESPIONINTL.COMExperience with databases (preferably MySQL), working in a Unix environment and a basic knowledge of network components (firewalls, gateways, switches, routers, etc.)
- An individual working towards a degree in IT/Computer Science OR has prior work experience of a minimum of one year in an IT position.
- Prior customer service experience is desirable but is not necessary.
- Ability to define problems, collect data from clients and provide a valid resolution.
- Desire to learn new networking/IT related concepts.
