The company has also created proprietary software which facilitates the application and approval process for clients seeking disability services.

"We do a lot of work with several companies already in the Tech Park, it creates synergy and helps all of our companies to grow by being under the same roof. The energy we felt coming into the Tech Park was awesome and we felt like if we were going to take our company to the next step, that the Tech Park is where we needed to do that," said Bo White of Click Here Publishing.

What is the #1 piece of advice you would give someone just starting a technology company?

Be versatile! For the last 10 years technology has changed rapidly. In the last 3 years technology has changed exponentially. Whether you’re focused on hardware, consulting, or software one thing if certain – change is happening each and every day.

What is the #1 thing that has truly helped you get this far?

It sounds like a cliché but - Hard work! The most important part of being an entrepreneur is that you have to work hard. If the company is growing at a slow pace you have to be there working to make it grow. If it is growing by leaps and bounds, you have to be there to do the work, manage the staff, handle the accounting, and control the rate of growth. Both my partner Chris and I have put in long hours week after week after week - - year after year after year. At any point you have to be ready to work that 80-hour week (and we still do it regularly).

What are the top 3 things you wish you new along the way?

1) You don’t always have to have the lowest price to get the business. Service, quality, availability are many times more important than pricing.

2) The more “successful” you are doesn’t mean you will have loads of “free time” and get to sit back and run on cruise control.

3) It was going to be so damn fun.

What’s the best part of being at LTP?

Being a 3-month resident the list growing by the week. I suppose the best part so far is the overwhelming support of the LTP Staff. They seem like they are all just so eager to help, to support you and your business, and make sure everything’s ok.

What do you think it takes to be a successful entrepreneur?

There are so many things it takes to be a successful entrepreneur. Surrounding yourself with good people is key. Having a good product and being honest with yourself and your clients is also a must. But I think the most important element is DISCIPLINE. You have to have discipline to show up to work daily even if you “don’t have to”. You have to have financial discipline. One day you are cash rich and then next you are cash poor. You can’t go crazy and buy cars and a boat just because you had a good quarter or a good year – always reinvest and discipline yourself to always over-deliver.

Do you have a mentor? If so, what has that person helped guide your success to date?

I wouldn’t say I have a mentor; however, I have been influenced by several key people along the way. When I was growing up I worked for a girlfriend's father that ran a small business. I learned (by watching him) that if you work hard you can have more personal time. When I was thinking about starting this company years ago a few older and successful self-employed friends showed me that hard work (more specifically working hard for yourself) can sometimes deliver big rewards (as opposed to making money for an employer). Both my parents were hard workers and I think that work ethic was passed down to me. Put it all together and I guess that would be my “group mentor”.

Do you have a peer group with which to share ideas?

Talking to others and bouncing ideas of other professionals NEVER hurts. I learn something new almost every week that in turn helps the growth of my business.

What kind of continuing business education would most help you right now?

I’m not really sure, maybe financial management, teaches us how to avoid paying lots of taxes, maximizing expenses, and the best ways to make our money work for us. I think cash management, once your company is successful, is the key to maximizing profitability.
